[openib-general] Codebase: when's a good time to branch

Mellanox should be done checking in their code within the next day or
two.  Once that happens I think we just need to get the Subversion
server stabilized (as far as I know there are still some problems with
the installation).  After that you should be able to check out from
https://openib.org/svn and get the latest source.

Great, I'm looking forward to working with you.  I think we could give
you space within the OpenIB subversion tree if you think that would be
helpful for staying in sync and merging patches.  The current
organization looks basically like

  src/
    common/
    userspace/
    linux-kernel/

If I remember correctly, you are working on FreeBSD, so if you think
it makes sense, we could add a src/freebsd-kernel/ directory for your
port.  Or we could create a subversion branch for your work.
