Yes, I believe the labs are particularly interested in comparison tests. I can't speak for Sandia and Lanl, but I'm planning on running every stack I can get my hands on that does the following:

Runs on linux-2.6.X
Builds on PPC64, Opteron, and x86
Has GPL-compatible source available for download
Has an MPI implementation available or included
Runs on Debian linux
Functions on a shared read-only nfsroot filesystem

At the moment, I'm only interested in MPI, so I won't be doing SDP or SRP comparisons right away.

So, all of you vendors out there, please let me know what out there might work for me.
