I'm attaching a patch against the infiniband-kernel-2004-03-16 package
(https://openib.org/downloads/infiniband-kernel-24-2004-03-17.tar.bz2).
With this patch I was able to build as part of kernel 2.6.4 configured
for ppc64 with g5_defconfig using gcc 3.3.2 on my pSeries box.
However, I have no G5 hardware so I have no idea what will happen if
you try to run it.
Still, please give it a shot and let me know what happens. I'm trying
to get some G5 hardware (or possibly an IBM JS20 blade) but it will
take a little while.

Is this really true? I thought the G5 uses an AMD 8131 Hypertransport
to PCI-X tunnel, which is the same part all my Opteron servers use --
and I've never seen any problems with 64-bit PCI on that platform.
